Wayne Country Club is a straight forward course.
Lush bluegrass fairways roll over gentle slopes to smooth midsize greens. The rough is seeded and well-kept.
The front nine was built in 1948 and the back nine in 1969. The trees are a little thicker on the front nine.
The two toughest holes are the 11th and 12th.
The picturesque 11th is a lengthy uphill par 4 with out-of-bounds left and a pond on the right.
The 12th is a long par 3 with a pond short right that will catch a fat push.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 353 (York). Go north about 110 miles on Hwy 81 to Hwy 98. Turn right and go a total of 18 miles (continue east as Hwy 98 runs into Hwy 35) to Hwy 15 in Wayne. Turn left and go 1.0 miles to the entrance road on your right. Turn right and go .15 miles to the entrance on your left.
Directions from Lincoln and Omaha: Take Hwy 275 to Hwy 15. Go north on Hwy 15 about 15 miles to the Hwy 35 intersection in Wayne. From the intersection, go 1 mile to the entrance road and continue as described above.
