Hillcrest is a quiet club outside of east Lincoln. It is exceptionally well kept and plays long.
Several of the greens are small and difficult to hit on long approaches. Putting and chipping ability are necessary to score well.
The second, ninth, and seventeenth are lengthy par 4's with trees and wind to challenge you. Sand traps are used to defend the par 3's.
The eighth is a devilish par 3 with a split level green. The green has about a 4 foot ledge down the middle. If you are on the wrong side of the ledge, make your goal a 3 putt.
Hillcrest is a good golf challenge.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 409 (Waverly and Lincoln). Go 2.5 miles west on Hwy 6 to 84th St. Go south on 84th St. 4.2 miles to "O" St. Turn left and go east .7 miles on "O" St./Hwy 34 to the entrance on your right.
