This 40 year old course sits just to the south of the Highway 15 / Highway 20 intersection in Laurel.
It lays across two broad slopes and surrounding lowland. The course was conceived and built by Mick Dalton and John Calcavechia. PGA pro Mark Calcavechia lived in Laurel until he was 13 and learned to play at Cedar View.
The course runs clockwise, favoring a slice or a fade. The entire course is in great condition including the small greens. Cedars are scattered between fairways, enhancing the scenic qualities of the course.
The par 4 fourth plays the toughest. It is long and uphill and usually against the wind. A great overview of the course is provided from the modern clubhouse.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 353 (York). Go north 119 miles on Hwy 81 to Hwy 20. Turn right and go 17.55 miles to Hwy 15 South (veers to the right off Hwy 20). Go .3 miles south on Hwy 15 to the Cedar View Country Club sign. Turn right and follow Hillcrest Dr. to the entrance.
From Lincoln: From I-80, take Hwy 77 north about 54 miles to Hwy 275. Go north on Hwy 275 about 45 miles to Hwy 15. Turn right and go about 28 miles to the Cedar View Country Club sign and continue as above.
From Omaha: From I-680, take Hwy 275 about 99 miles to Hwy 15 and continue as above.
