Dannebrog Golf Club has a lot to boast about. Home of the Bull Pen Open! Why do people travel from hundreds of miles to attend this event? One reason is the par 3 number 2 hole. This 125 yard hole is the most unique green in the state. It is completely surrounded by a cut out section of a grain bin. If you miss the green on your approach you’ll need a flop shot for your second shot. All the other greens are surrounded by fences that have a gated entrance to keep the cattle from ruining the greens. The difficulty of the rough depends on the time of year, or whether or not the rough has been hayed. Everyone should play this course at least once a year.

Directions fromI-80: Take exit 312 (Grand Island) for Hwy 281 north, 8.9 miles. Take NE-2 West, 12.4 miles. Turn right at NE-11 north, 5.2 miles. Turn right at NE-11 N/NE-58 E, 5.2 miles. Golf course will be on the right.
