Lakeview rides along two ridges high above the southeast corner of Lewis and Clark Lake.
The land is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers who used massive amounts of dirt from the site to build the Lewis and Clark dam.
Almost every fairway is narrow, steeply sloped, and heavily wooded along one side or the other with oak trees. Most of the greens are small with sharp drop-offs.
The tee shot on the par 3, 8th is completely blind, so a light system rigged from green to tee is used to signal all clear.
The 4th tee provides a spectacular yet harrowing view. From the tee, you get an eyeful of the dangerous twisting turning downhill 4th fairway but you also get a panoramic view of the lake.
Lakeview is worth a visit.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 353 (York). Go north about 144 miles on Hwy 81 to Hwy 12. Turn left and go 5.0 miles to Hwy 121 North in Crofton. Turn right and go 9.2 miles to the golf course entrance road on your left. Turn left and go .15 miles the parking lot on your left.
